Imagine Peace for Pups strives to help save these dogs but relies solely on private donations to operate their rescue. One of the biggest expenses associated with rescuing pups are the veterinary costs. All rescues have a mandatory visit with a trusted veterinarian and are spay/neutered, microchipped and given their basic vaccines. Secondarily, transportation is a considerable monetary factor as almost all of the pups are rescued from Central and Southern California.
